-It allows to knit all kinds of materials; wools, acrylics, synthetics, cottons, etc. and their mixtures (in its metric number range).
-As it is a medium stitch and has 30 different stitch sizes, it is the electronic knitting machine that covers the widest range on the market. It knits fine (not too fine), medium and coarse (not too coarse) stitches. With a range of equivalence in hand knitting on needles from 1.5 to 3.5 (all needles) and up to 4.5/5 with alternate needles.
-Number of needles. 200, metallic, jointed (reed), high resistance.
-Stitch types. The knitting machine Silver SK840 can knit plain stitch, interweaves, individual motifs, delized, retained-collected, plated-plated, lace, wefts, etc... By means of electronic sensors, it allows to realize the design of stitch that we want in one or several parts of the fabric, leaving the rest in plain stitch. See examples in the product image gallery, above.
-Needle selection. Automatic-electronic, electronic control of the selection of each needle by means of electro-magnets. Simply insert the drawn card or the software file of the motif you want to knit, activate the controls of the chosen type of stitch and pass the carriage. The machine will automatically select the required needles for each pass of the fabric. note NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. Although both the carriage and the front end are equipped with the necessary electronic components for needle selection, it requires the hardware-software for full operation, with several options on the market (DK8'silverlink 5 usb, ... etc.) with a price of 800/1000 €. Without these accessories, the machine only knits plain stitch. These external accessories can be uncoupled from one machine and coupled to a different one, (modular system). Consult technical differences for a better choice.
-Needle bed. Metallic, single block chassis, three-point needle clamping (rear metal rack, metal strap in central area, and foam bar in front position). The single-block chassis confers great structural rigidity, regularity in stitch formation and eliminates horizontal clearances in the long term.
-Trolley. Control of the 3 selection channels by central cam, control of the needles in position “D” (partial fabrics) by “Russel” levers. Precision bearings at the 4 ends of the carriage.
-Tools. Complete, with all the original factory tools. Needle selector 0-1/1. Needle feeders-transporters 1x2, 1x3 and 2x3. Overlock needle. Weights. Separating cords. Spare needles, crochet and knitting needles. Stitch gauge scale (to determine needles and passes in 10 square centimeters of fabric). Stroke counter. Special tabs for repairing colors in individual motifs. Oil bottle and special brush for cleaning.
-On request, it is possible to modify the structural characteristics of the machine according to the specific demand. Thinner or thicker stitch range by re-positioning central cams, adding fastening points by incorporating intermediate straps for weaving hard wires, etc., these processes are not recommended for new machines, without limitation of guarantees. Ask for quotation.
